plastic free bubble tea

Make bubble tea at home, it's easier than you think!

All the bubble tea fun without the plastic and you can make them as sweet as you like with zero nasties.


The tapioca pearls are easily sipped through our stainless steel RAYA straws, plus no need to wait in queues for your bubble tea fix. Everybody wins, even the turtles 🐢








ingredients 


Iced Snow Matcha 

1 tbs Matcha Powder, or to taste

1 tbs Maple Syrup, or to taste

Milk of Choice + Ice


Real Purple Taro 

1 piece of Frozen Purple Taro per serve

1/2 tbs Condensed Milk, or to taste 

Milk of Choice + Ice


Milk Earl Grey

1 tbs loose Earl Grey Tea Leaves

Maple Syrup

Milk of Choice + Ice


1 cup of dried Tapioca Pearls






prep the bubble tea elements


Tapioca Pearls

Bring a pot of water to the boil and add the tapioca pearls, stir to make sure they don't stick to the bottom.


Once they float to the top, boil for a further 10 minutes. Drain, rinse and then stir in 2 tbs of maple syrup. Cover and set aside.


Purple Taro

In a bamboo steamer, cook the frozen purple taro until tender. Refrigerate until needed.


Earl Grey Tea 

Steep tea in a cup of boiling water until very strong. Refrigerate until needed.



blend & drink


In a NutriBullet or blender, add your chosen flavour base, sweetener (maple syrup or condensed milk), ice and milk of choice. Blend until well combined.


Spoon the tapioca pearls into tall glasses and pour over your icy bubble tea blend.


Best enjoyed straight away, so dive in with a RAYA straw, give the bubble tea a swizzle and you're ready to drink.
